Russia: We Have Not Participated in Talks to Extend the Black Sea Grain Export Agreement

The Russian Foreign Ministry revealed today, Sunday, that representatives from Russia have not yet participated in negotiations to extend the grain export agreement via the Black Sea. Spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, pointed out that "there have been no negotiations on this matter, especially with the participation of Russian representatives." She noted that the next round of talks regarding the extension of the agreement will be held in Geneva on March 13, between a Russian delegation and Rebecca Greenspan, the United Nations' top trade official.
