Bousaaib Meets Egyptian Ambassador: To Restore Relations with Syria

Deputy Speaker of the House Elias Bousaaib received the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, Yasser Al-Alaoui, in his office this morning, where they discussed general conditions, particularly the impending challenges. The meeting addressed the updates regarding decisions from the Arab League, with Bousaaib clarifying that "the Lebanese government should not delay re-establishing communication with the Syrian state to restore the official relations that have cooled due to internal Lebanese disputes, which have resulted in significant losses borne by the Lebanese people and the Lebanese economy."
