After "Death Boats"... The Army Arrests a Suspect and This is What He Admitted!

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement: On 21/09/2022, the Directorate of Intelligence arrested the citizen (B.D.) on suspicion of involvement in the smuggling of illegal migrants by sea. Investigations have confirmed his involvement in managing a network that operates in smuggling illegal migrants by sea, starting from the Lebanese coast extending from Al-Arida in the north to Miniyeh in the south. He also confessed to preparing for the recent smuggling operation from Lebanon to Italy by sea on 21/09/2022, which resulted in the sinking of the boat off the Syrian coast on 22/09/2022. Investigations with the detained individual continue, and efforts to apprehend the members of the network are ongoing under the supervision of the relevant judiciary.
