Title: Speaker of Parliament Proposes Ban on International Criminal Court in Russia

The Speaker of the Russian Parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin, proposed on Saturday to ban the activities of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the country, after the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of committing war crimes. Volodin emphasized that the Russian constitution should be amended to prohibit any activity of the ICC within the state and to penalize anyone who provides "assistance and support" to the ICC.
