Sources in the Ministry of Defense told Anadolu Agency that "these claims are completely unfounded" and affirmed that "no helicopter belonging to the Turkish armed forces is flying in that area." Online platforms and accounts affiliated with the terrorist organization "PKK" circulated allegations of "a Turkish army helicopter crashing in the Duhok region of northern Iraq."
