Qatar's Foreign Ministry: Re-establishment of Diplomatic Relations with Bahrain

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement today, Wednesday, that the Qatari-Bahraini Follow-up Committee met in Riyadh and decided to restore diplomatic relations between the two countries. It added, "This step comes from a mutual desire to develop bilateral relations and enhance Gulf integration and unity." The Qatari-Bahraini Follow-up Committee held its second meeting in Riyadh.
