The Italian Air Force announced the death of two pilots in a collision between their aircraft during a maneuver. In a statement on Tuesday, it confirmed that the pilots lost their lives when two light aircraft, a U-208 model, collided in the air near Guidonia Military Airport, located about 25 kilometers northeast of Rome.
The Italian news agency ANSA reported that one of the planes fell onto a field while the other landed on a parked car. No injuries on the ground have been reported.
