Title: Egypt Awaits Agreement with IMF on $3 Billion Package

The Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the International Monetary Fund, Jihad Azour, announced today, Thursday, that Egypt and the IMF have not yet agreed on a date for the initial review under the $3 billion financial package signed in December. He stated, "We are in regular dialogue with the authorities to prepare for the initial review, and preparations have begun. When we and the authorities are ready, we will announce the date."
