Decrease in Unemployment Rate in Egypt

The Egyptian government announced that the Egyptian economy is growing by 3.9% in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2022 - 2023 and expects it to grow by 4.2% by the end of the fiscal year. The government mentioned in a statement that Suez Canal revenues reached $2.2 billion in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2022 - 2023 compared to $1.7 billion in the same period last year. Additionally, the unemployment rate in Egypt has decreased to 7.2%. The fiscal year adopted by Egypt begins in July and ends in June.
