Leeds United Stadium Reopens After Security Threats

Leeds United, competing in the English Premier League, reopened its Elland Road stadium today, Sunday, after it was closed due to security threats. The West Yorkshire police allowed the stadium to reopen and reported that a 20-year-old man was arrested last Friday "in connection with the incident, and investigations are ongoing." The club released a statement saying, "West Yorkshire Police informed Leeds United that they could immediately reopen Elland Road. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank the public for their support."
