Lebanese Stranded Under the Rubble in Turkey!

The Lebanese ambassador in Ankara, ghassan al-Ma'allim, confirmed that they are monitoring the situation of five Lebanese individuals trapped under the rubble in coordination with Turkish authorities, the disaster relief agency "AFAD," and the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs. Al-Ma'allim explained in an interview with "Voice of Lebanon" that "rescue teams have not yet reached the area where the missing Lebanese are located due to the vast area impacted by the earthquake and the severed supply and transportation routes." He added, "We do not have an official count of Lebanese casualties as of now, and we are unaware of the number of Lebanese in Turkey since they have not reported to the embassy, along with the presence of tourists." He pointed out that some Lebanese in the affected areas are communicating with the embassy and assisting in the enumeration of the missing.
