Russia has added a Bulgarian journalist to its "foreign agents" list and issued a warrant for his arrest, a rare use of this classification against a non-Russian citizen. The Bulgarian journalist Krsto Grozev (53) is one of the leading experts on Russian affairs at the investigative site "Bellingcat," and he played a key role in the investigation related to the poisoning of Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny. Russian news agencies reported that the Russian Interior Ministry added Grozev's name to the "foreign agents" list, and a court in Moscow issued an arrest warrant for him, despite his current presence outside of Russia.
