An Israeli armored force threw two smoke bombs at tobacco farmers in southern Lebanon. The farmers were planting their seedlings near the border fence when they were surprised by the bombs being thrown towards "Khalat al-Ghamik" south of the town of Ayta ash-Shab. It has been reported that the force left the area, while several farmers continued their work as usual.
