Qassem: Crying Over Lebanon's Situation Does Not Exempt Anyone from Responsibility

Sheikh Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of "Hezbollah," pointed to the difficulty of the situation, whether on the economic, legal, or social levels, stating that conditions are deteriorating day by day. He held the officials and relevant parties in Lebanon responsible and said, "In this particular phase, the deputies have an exceptional responsibility to work towards saving the country by convening to elect a president so that the constitutional institutions can begin focusing on forming a government. After that, rescue and reform programs can be put in place that involve both the government and the parliamentary council, leading us to the first steps to emerge from this great tunnel in which Lebanon has found itself."

He continued in his speech, "Crying over what has happened to Lebanon does not exempt anyone from the responsibility of fulfilling their duties," affirming that the primary responsibility today is to save the country by electing a president.
