A Dutch court concluded today, Wednesday, in a class-action lawsuit that the European subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Facebook Ireland, improperly used the personal data of Dutch citizens between 2010 and 2020. The court's ruling summary stated that "personal information was processed for advertising purposes, which is not allowed in this case." The Dutch case has not yet reached the stage of claiming any damages.
