The Armenian Emergency Ministry reported that an explosion occurred in one of the areas in the capital Yerevan, resulting in injuries. The ministry stated on its website: "At 9:15, the National Crisis Management Center received information about an explosion on Bagratuniats Street in Yerevan," indicating that "a fire broke out and injuries were reported" as a result of the incident. The statement added that two groups of rescuers were dispatched to the site. The ministry later clarified that the explosion took place in a hostel on the mentioned street and that two injured individuals were taken to the National Burn Center for treatment.
