One of the patrols from the Public Relations Division of the Directorate General of Internal Security Forces managed to arrest the mastermind behind a gang involved in stealing electrical wires in various areas of Mount Lebanon and the Bekaa.
The authorities were able to identify him as M.A (born in 1972, Lebanese), who has three warrants for his arrest related to theft and shooting at security forces patrols.
During the investigation, he confessed to leading a gang that steals electric cables and stated that he, along with members of his gang, carried out numerous cable theft operations.
