Agreement on Electricity Between Berri and Mikati

Lebanon's Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri received caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the second presidential headquarters in Ain al-Tineh, where they discussed the general situation, the latest political developments, and legislative matters. Mikati briefed Berri on his participation in the Arab summit held in Algeria and the climate summit in Sharm El-Sheikh (COP27). After the meeting, Mikati left without making any statements, stating only to MTV, in response to a question about whether he discussed the electricity file with Berri: "We agreed on a formula." Berri also received lawyer and political analyst Joseph Abu Fadel and the head of the committee responsible for managing the Lebanese community in the coastal region, Muhammad Qaafrani.
