Bus Drivers in Britain End Strike After Pay Increase

The Unite union in Britain announced today, Saturday, that over three thousand drivers at National Express buses in Central England have ended their strike after voting to accept a 16.2% pay increase. Britain has witnessed waves of strikes in recent months, with hundreds of thousands of workers in transportation, health, education, and the public sector demanding higher wages to keep up with rising inflation and increasing living costs.
