Protests in Sidon Over Deteriorating Living Conditions

Angry citizens cut off the road at the eastern highway opposite the Shafik Hariri villa in Sidon, as well as blocking the road in front of the electricity company in the city, by setting fire to waste containers in protest against the deteriorating living and economic conditions, the fluctuating dollar exchange rate, and their deprivation of basic rights to electricity and water, along with the accumulation of crises without solutions. It is worth noting that the city suffers from electricity outages, rising costs of generator bills, waste accumulation, and poor living conditions due to the economic and financial crisis in the country.
