The Turkish opposition alliance announced that Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the leader of the Republican People's Party, will be their joint candidate against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the upcoming elections scheduled for May 14. Temel Karamollaoğlu, the head of the opposition Felicity Party, stated after a meeting of six opposition party leaders, "As a result of our meetings, we have decided that Kemal Kilicdaroglu will be our presidential candidate."
