The Iraqi Governorate of Salah al-Din has issued a directive banning "inappropriate" clothing such as tight pants and shoes without socks for its male employees in all offices and departments. The document, signed by the governorate, states: "It is instructed to inform all employees to adhere to the official dress code during official working hours, and any employee wearing inappropriate clothing such as tight pants or shoes without socks is strictly prohibited from entering the governorate building."
