A powerful storm struck various regions in northern Syria today, Wednesday, resulting in casualties, injuries, and material damage. The director of Hama Hospital, Salim Khalouf, reported that four people died and 13 others were injured in the city of Morek and the village of Jebreen in the Hama countryside due to the storm. The Syrian Civil Defense (White Helmets) announced that four civilians were injured and there were material losses in northwestern Syria as a result of the storm. The storm caused the collapse of three electrical towers, leading to power outages in several villages, along with the falling of other poles, according to the general manager of the Hama Electricity Company, Habib Khalil. Additionally, the storm caused stones to fall from the facades of many buildings in Hama and Masyaf, cracked walls on the roofs of some homes, and dislodged solar panels.
