The Governor of the Qatar Central Bank, Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, stated at the Qatar Economic Forum organized by Bloomberg today in Doha, that "linking the Qatari currency to the US dollar and US monetary policy is suitable for the country's economy." He added, "We believe this policy is appropriate for the Qatari economy, and we do not see an urgent need to change this policy."
