The governor of Russia's Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, indicated on Sunday that "Ukrainian shelling of the region last night caused damage to a gas pipeline and power lines, as well as to a house in the village of Spudaryushino." Gladkov stated via the Telegram app, "The most important thing is that there are no casualties." Belgorod is one of several regions in southern Russia that have experienced explosions targeting facilities such as fuel and ammunition depots since Moscow's invasion of Ukraine began on February 24, 2022.
