Putin Sets Deadline for Completion of Partial Military Mobilization

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the partial military mobilization declared last September will conclude within two weeks. Speaking at a press conference held in the Kazakh capital, Astana, he stated that the partial military mobilization is nearly complete and will be finalized in two weeks, according to the Russian news agency TASS. He added that so far, 220,000 reservists have been called up out of the 300,000 covered by the mobilization decree. Putin noted that he does not see the need to expand the scope of the partial military mobilization in the foreseeable future.
