According to exclusive information from our site, the Disciplinary Committee of the Lebanese Football Federation imposed severe sanctions on Ansar Club following the riots during their match with Al-Ahed in the final round of the Lebanese football league, held on Sunday at Fouad Chehab Stadium in Jounieh. The Disciplinary Committee deemed Ansar Club the loser with a score of 0-3 and deducted points from their overall total, in addition to financial penalties. Thus, Al-Ahed was declared the champion of the current season and crowned as the champion of Lebanon.
