The police chief of Naples announced the arrest of eight individuals overnight after clashes broke out among fans in the city on Wednesday, ahead of the match between Napoli and German team Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. Alessandro Giuliano stated in a press conference that five of those arrested were Napoli supporters while three were fans of the German team.
