The Vice President of the World Bank for the Middle East, Fred Belhaj, confirmed during his meeting with Finance Minister in the caretaker government, Youssef Khalil, the "readiness of the World Bank to support Lebanon in these exceptional circumstances through several relief projects, especially supporting wheat and the program for the poorest families." The discussion touched on the necessity of maintaining the education sector and saving the academic year, as well as assisting public administration, particularly in the financial sector, to face the repercussions of the crisis. Khalil also received the Chairman of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, Mohamed Al-Mazrouei, and the conditions of the agricultural sector were reviewed.
