A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Alaska Peninsula today, Saturday. The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported that the earthquake's center was located 77 kilometers underground, at the intersection of 156.21 degrees north latitude and 156.69 degrees west longitude. There have been no immediate reports of casualties or material damages.
