Around 88 students at the University of Khartoum have issued a distress call for their evacuation as they remain trapped since the outbreak of clashes last Saturday. According to a university student, one colleague has been killed and another injured, and as of now, they have been unable to bury their deceased friend or help the injured due to the ongoing clashes and the lack of a safe passage around the university.
A student from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Khartoum, Linda Hassan, made a plea for the rescue of her colleagues, talking about the difficult psychological and health conditions they are facing.
