Following the Constitutional Council's decision to annul the memberships of Rami Fanj and Firas Saloom, the Secretary-General of the Parliament, Adnan Daher, clarified in a call with "Nidaa al-Watan" that the term "former deputy" does not apply to them, as their memberships are annulled "as if they never existed at all." Consequently, there will be no financial compensation owed to them. Regarding the rights of Faisal Karami and Haidar Nasser to claim retroactive salaries and allowances as compensation for the previous months, from the announcement of the parliamentary election results until their official victory, Daher explained that "their membership begins with the Constitutional Council's decision, thus there are no financial entitlements retroactively."
