Local sources in Yemen reported that at least ten people died today, Saturday, after a car skidded off a high mountain curve due to heavy rain runoff in one area of Rima Governorate, west of the capital, Sana'a. The sources indicated that the vehicle fell from a steep mountain slope in the Al-Masbah area of Kisma district in Rima while en route to Sana'a, resulting in the death of ten individuals, including a woman, and injuring three others. A local source attributed the incident to the heavy rain runoff that hampered traffic, noting that the injured were transported to a hospital in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, according to reports from the Houthi-run news agency.
