As the 2023 Academy Awards ceremony approaches, hundreds of workers and journalists are racing against time to finalize preparations for Hollywood's biggest awards show, the 95th edition, which takes place today, Sunday, March 12, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. This year, the “golden carpet” will welcome some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, with the venue adorned with life-sized Oscar statues and staff working to set up beautiful lighting to illuminate the night.
The famous watch company Rolex has also been involved in the final preparations for the ceremony, present at the golden carpet area. In terms of the event's hosts, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has appointed American comedian Jimmy Kimmel as the main host of the ceremony, alongside several Hollywood stars, including Mexican actress Salma Hayek and Australian actress Nicole Kidman.
