The U.S. Department of Justice confirmed that "a soldier confessed today, Wednesday, that he is guilty of terrorism-related charges for attempting to assist ISIS in carrying out an ambush that resulted in the deaths of American soldiers in the Middle East." The department added in a statement that "the soldier is from Ohio and admitted to attempting to provide 'material support' to ISIS, as well as attempting to assist them in attacking and killing American soldiers."
