Indonesian President Joko Widodo condemned the "shooting" incident that targeted officials from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) while they were delivering humanitarian assistance in Myanmar. Widodo stated that the "shooting will not deter Indonesia and ASEAN's efforts to seek peace in Myanmar." He added, "Stop using force, stop the violence because the people are the victims; this situation will not lead to a win for any party," emphasizing that "Indonesia encourages all parties to engage in dialogue and find solutions."
