The Supreme Judicial Council in Bahrain announced today, Wednesday, that the Kingdom intends to establish an international commercial court to resolve cross-border commercial disputes, named the "Bahrain International Commercial Court," similar to the model of the Singapore International Commercial Court. The Supreme Judicial Council of Bahrain and the Supreme Court of Singapore stated in a joint announcement that both sides will cooperate in this regard with the aim of providing a comprehensive environment for resolving regional and international disputes, including arbitration and mediation.
