WHO: Global COVID-19 Deaths Decrease by 46%

The World Health Organization announced that "COVID-19 deaths have decreased by 46% compared to the previous 28 days, and the number of infections has dropped by 31%." According to the organization, over 3.7 million people were infected with COVID-19 worldwide from February 20 to March 19 of this year, and more than 26,000 have died. Over the 28 days, the highest number of cases was reported in the United States, totaling 792,202, followed by Russia (339,564), China (320,029), Japan (291,672), and Germany (281,468).
