The Association of Banks in Lebanon confirmed its statement issued yesterday without any amendments: "The association finds itself compelled to return to the strike starting from the morning of Tuesday, March 14." The Association had announced a return to strike starting from the morning of Tuesday, March 14, 2023, demanding "the swift legal measures to put an end to this dysfunction in the adoption of contradictory standards in issuing some judgments that drain the remaining funds belonging to all depositors, not just some at the expense of others, and to address this crisis in a rational, fair, and final manner, in which the state, in particular, bears its responsibility in this regard."
