The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced that it is in the process of taking punitive measures against officers who suffer from obesity or have declining physical fitness capabilities. The ministry confirmed that it will delay promotions for officers who are excessively overweight and may also retire some of them if they are unable to slim down.
