Neomed Energy announced today, Wednesday, that the Aphrodite gas field, being developed off the coast of Cyprus, will be connected to a processing and production facility in Egypt via an undersea pipeline. The company added that it, along with its project partners (Chevron) and (Shell), has submitted a development plan for the field to the Cypriot government for approval. Neomed stated, "The updated plan is expected to expedite the project and reduce development costs."
