Trump: Musk Deliberately Lost the Poll

Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Twitter owner Elon Musk held a poll about stepping down from leading the platform because he wants to withdraw. Trump remarked that the billionaire "deliberately lost" the poll regarding his future at Twitter, as he no longer wants the job of managing the site he bought for $44 billion. He added, "I think he wants to step down, and I think this is a good way to do it... to lose a poll and say 'I'm out of here.'" Musk had announced that he would resign as Twitter's president once he finds "someone crazy enough" to take his place, and he noted that he would then manage "software and server teams" on the platform.
