An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 struck the Aegean Sea off the western Turkish coast. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) stated in a report that the epicenter of the earthquake was off the coast of the Datça district in Muğla province. It added that the epicenter was located 110 km off the shores of Datça, at a depth of 54 km.
