7 Dead and 46 Missing Due to Landslides in Ecuador

Seven people have died, 23 have been injured, and at least 46 others are missing due to landslides in southern Ecuador caused by heavy rainfall that fell on Sunday night and continued until Monday, according to authorities in Ecuador. Dozens of homes were buried in the Alausí area of Chimborazo province, located 300 kilometers south of the capital Quito, in the Andes region, affecting approximately 500 people due to the landslides.
