The Indian Army announced that one of its helicopters "made a difficult landing" in a remote area of the Indian-controlled part of the Kashmir region on Thursday, resulting in injuries to two pilots and a technician on board. In a statement, it explained that "the locally manufactured advanced light helicopter reported a technical fault in the air traffic control system and made an emergency landing on the banks of a river in the remote Kishtwar area." The army mentioned that "due to the rugged terrain, tangled trees, and the area being unprepared for landing, the helicopter apparently landed with difficulty," adding that "an investigation has been ordered." Additionally, it stated that "rescue operations were carried out immediately and the three injured were transported to a military hospital."
