Tripeka Shipping Agency announced today, Saturday, that ship traffic in the Bosphorus Strait will be halted tomorrow, Sunday, due to the passage of a Turkish naval vessel. Ships carrying grain from several Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea are undergoing inspections before entering the Bosphorus Strait, as part of an agreement between Ukraine and Russia mediated by the United Nations and Turkey. Russia stated that extending the agreement after its expiration on May 18 is contingent upon the West lifting restrictions that it claims hinder its agricultural exports.
