A Lebanese judicial source revealed that an investigating judge has set March 15 as the date for interrogating the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh, as part of a corruption investigation involving Salameh and his close associates. Judge Charbel Abou Samra took over the investigation late last month after another judge charged Salameh with embezzlement, illicit enrichment, and money laundering. Salameh denies these accusations.
