The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Saturday, that it "has decided to expel more than 20 diplomats and retaliate for the mass expulsion of its diplomats from Berlin." It condemned the decision of the German authorities, which involves another mass expulsion of staff from Russian diplomatic missions in Germany, considering that "these actions continue to destroy the overall Russian-German relations." The ministry added that "the German ambassador in Moscow, Geza Andreas von Geier, was informed of these steps on April 5th."
