Ukrainian General: The Situation Around Bakhmut is Difficult

Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi stated today, Monday, that the situation around Bakhmut remains difficult, but Ukrainian forces are repelling all Russian attempts to seize the city. The Ukrainian Military Media Center's Telegram platform reported Syrskyi as saying: "The situation around Bakhmut is still difficult. All enemy attempts to control the city have been repelled using artillery, tanks, and other firepower." He added that the Russian "Wagner" group is "attacking from several directions and trying to breach our defenses and advance into the central areas of the city."
