Woman Rescued Alive After 7 Days Under Rubble

A team from the Algerian Civil Protection in Turkey has managed to rescue a woman alive from under the rubble, seven days after the earthquake. The civil protection team present in Turkey successfully saved the woman after she had spent 7 days trapped under the debris. This brings the total number of people rescued alive from the rubble by Algerian rescuers to 13, while the bodies of 90 victims have been recovered. Approximately a week after the earthquake that devastated areas in southern Turkey and northwestern Syria, claiming the lives of over 30,000 people, rescue operations continue in the search for survivors from the disaster.
